Applicants need to provide three (3) character reference letters from reputable sources. One letter reference MUST be from within the community. Reputable sources such as:
- employer
- community leader
- a teacher
- an administrator
- or clergy person
The letters should be:
- typed
- one page or longer in length
- bear the signature of the
reference(s)
- be attached to your application.

In May 2021 this is the second school year of Covid-19; however, there were four outstanding scholarship winners.
In May 2020,there were Eight-$1000.00 marvelous scholarship winners.

In May 2019, there were eight 2019 Outstanding Scholarship winners from all across the Houston metro area. They were in attendance at their Award Luncheon held at Maggiano's, Houston in early spring. We wish them the very best in their collegiate years.
